Wenheyou (Shenzhen) was a landmark commercial and cultural project that blended dining, entertainment, and immersive environment design inspired by nostalgic city life.

 

I was invited to join the Ice and Fire Summer program with the 8CODE SYSTEM team at Wenheyou Shenzhen as the key visual designer, where I developed a complete new visual IP for the project.

 

Inspired by Wenheyou’s nostalgic atmosphere and the popular culture of late-20th-century Shenzhen, I referenced classic arcade fighting games such as The King of Fighters and designed two opposing original characters, FireShrimp and IceShrimp, as the core of the campaign concept. Based on this IP, I created the full set of key visuals, including the main promotional poster and a large-scale façade advertisement. The final design was highly recognized by the project hosts and was praised as one of the most successful IP concepts developed for the venue.
